Associate
MA(Hons) Landscape Architecture, BArch(Hons), MArch ARB

Chris is one of the founding members of 7N Architects. On completing his degree in landscape architecture at Edinburgh College of Art, Chris moved to Philadelphia, where he worked for landscape architects Olin Partnership on a number of projects across the USA. Principal among these was the Washington Monument Grounds project in Washington DC.

In 2003 Chris returned to Scotland to study architecture. As an undergraduate, he joined the Edinburgh office of Foster and Partners, where he worked alongside Ewan Anderson on the practice’s Quartermile scheme.

Whilst completing his Master of Architecture, Chris worked at Make’s Edinburgh studio. In September 2006, he joined as a permanent member of staff working on key projects including Inverness Airport Business Park, the competition winning scheme for Scotland’s National Showground and proposals to transform the Listed former Odeon in Edinburgh into an art hotel.

Chris’ background in landscape architecture has allowed 7N to develop a particular sensitivity to landscape in our approach to masterplanning projects.
